On my way to my work I pass this meadow with a few cows. A few days ago there were Canadian geese gathering there on their migration south. I thought it would be nice to take a picture of them. Today I took my camera with me and there was not one Canadian geese. To my surprise I saw this Nile goose with her chicks as if it is spring....
Tonight I passed the same meadow and what did I see... a meadow full with Canadian geese. Only this time I was without camera.

ReplyDeleteVreemd he? Whopper blijft bij het lopen alsmaar staan bij 1 boom (niet zo'n hoge, een catalpa) en doet dan zijn neus in de lucht en wil niet meer verder. Zijn wij die boom eens goed gaan bekijken, zit er een nestje in, met vogeltjes...! Konden niet zien wat voor vogels.

I've never seen a Nile goose.....We don't have them much in Ohio!
ReplyDeleteOur Canada geese which used to migrate south in the winter now stay here year round.
